Service Availability

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, response times depend on current call volume, weather conditions, and truck availability. We dispatch the closest available truck with the right equipment for your situation, but we cannot guarantee specific arrival times.

Service Area

Gulf Coast Towing serves a 60-mile radius from Gulfport, MS, covering Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties. Service outside this area may be available on a case-by-case basis. Long-distance towing is available statewide and interstate. Call to confirm service availability for your location.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept standard payment methods. If you are unable to pay at the time of service, discuss payment options with the driver or dispatcher before work begins.

Charges for services rendered are the responsibility of the vehicle owner or the person who authorized the service. Disputes over charges must be raised within 30 days of service by calling (228) 863-1263.

Vehicle Storage

If your vehicle is towed to our facility, storage fees may apply after 24 hours. Vehicles stored at our facility are kept at the owner's risk. While we take reasonable precautions to secure stored vehicles, Gulf Coast Towing is not liable for theft, vandalism, weather damage, or any pre-existing conditions that worsen during storage.

Vehicles not claimed within the period specified by Mississippi law may be considered abandoned. Abandoned vehicles will be processed in accordance with applicable Mississippi state statutes regarding abandoned and unclaimed vehicles.

Vehicle Owner Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting service. This includes your location, vehicle type, vehicle condition, and any known hazards. Inaccurate information may result in delays, the wrong equipment being dispatched, or additional charges.

Remove all valuables from your vehicle before it is towed. Gulf Coast Towing is not responsible for personal belongings left inside towed vehicles. If you cannot remove items before the tow, inform the driver so they can note the presence of valuables.

Liability Limitations

Gulf Coast Towing carries liability insurance for towing operations. We take every precaution to prevent damage during towing and recovery. However, certain recovery situations — including winch-outs, accident recoveries, and complex operations — carry inherent risks that may result in unavoidable cosmetic or mechanical effects.

We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing vehicle conditions. Vehicles that are already damaged, mechanically compromised, or improperly maintained may sustain additional issues during transport that are not the result of our handling.

Gulf Coast Towing's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost wages, rental car costs, or business interruption.
